About your use & personal data

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2, 2026

This page is maintained by the volunteers of United in Prayer to answer common privacy questions about this website and our online prayer gatherings. United in Prayer is a small, informal community of Catholic men — not a parish, diocese, or registered organization — and this is a plain-language description of how we treat your information.

What we collect

This site does not require an account, does not ask you to sign in, and does not run third-party advertising trackers. If you choose to send us an email, we hold that message so we can reply. If you join a prayer gathering, the Google Meet service handles the call under its own privacy terms.

Cookies & analytics

This site uses only the minimum cookies and local storage needed to keep it working. We may use standard, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell your data, and we do not attempt to correlate visits with a personal identity.

How we use information

We use the little information we have only to: (1) reply to messages you send us, (2) coordinate the prayer gatherings, and (3) keep this website working. We do not share your information with third parties except the service providers that host this site and our prayer meetings (for example, Google Meet and Google Calendar), and we do not sell or rent your information.

Your choices

You can visit this site without providing any personal information. You can join a prayer gathering under whatever name you choose to display in Google Meet, including a first name or initials. If you have emailed us and would like your message deleted, let us know and we will remove it.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Links to other sites

This site links to third-party services such as Google Meet and Google Calendar. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to keep it accurate. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
